Learn to play Flute

Welcome to the Flute Class! This class is designed for students of all levels who wish to learn how to play the flute, improve their skills, and explore various musical styles.

Class Objectives

• Develop fundamental flute playing techniques

• Learn music theory basics

• Practice scales and exercises for technical proficiency

• Explore different music genres

• Perform solo and ensemble pieces

Class Structure

• Warm-up: Breathing exercises and scales

• Technique: Focus on finger positioning and articulation

• Repertoire: Learning new pieces and improving existing ones

• Performance: Opportunities to showcase skills in front of peers

Materials Needed

• Flute (preferably a concert flute)

• Music stand

• Flute method book

• Notebook for practice logs and notes
